I’ve never cleaned a fish, and I don’t envy your experience, except to say you will never forget it! I do, however, understand cuisine being “lost in translation.” It sometimes takes a looong time to get it all sorted out. Good luck!!! xoxomom

hey, a simple dish that i love to eat, and you should probably be able to find pretty easily…
just ask for some niu rou mian.
or, actually, i don’t know if this is very common in china or not, but at least in taiwan…
easy, non-offensive food: it’s a yummy salty bread kind of thingy…

Hey, Eddie! I think I know the scallion pancakes you mean. There is a vendor who makes them right across the street from our apartment. They are fantastic!
