Next Year in Philadelphia

Matzoh Ball Soup

Another Passover in China has come and gone. Once again, we baked our own matzoh. Once again, we ground it to make matzoh ball soup. We slightly abbreviated our seder so that Artemis could get to sleep on time. We ended with a promise that we would spend next year in Philadelphia.

Yes, we have decided to leave China.

There are lots of reasons for the move. Mostly I am homesick. I think Josh could stay here for years, but I am ready to spend some time at home.

Glad you guys are keeping Pesach real in the Middle Kingdom. I think if you are Sephardic rice is kosher for Passover, which would make things a lot easier if you were in China. Good luck with your imminent move back to the USA. By the way, I like the new layout of the site.

Yes, next year in Philadelphia! And I can’t wait to try the homemade matzoh. If any of your subscribers are in the neighborhood, maybe they could join us. That would be great. B&B
